We label all cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware, as we remove them from the frame to be taken off site to our shop. Staying organized throughout the process is essential to Southland Painting.

Tape off all cabinet frames and cover areas that will not be painted, including countertops, walls, etc. We offer painting the inside cabinet shelves for an additional cost.

Clean frames from any spills and messes like grease, ketchup, sweet tea, etc. We strive to use soap and water, straying away from any harmful degreasers.

Apply wood grain filler to fill in any knicks, scratches, and heavy grains & bondo for areas that need more attention. We then sand our frames and cabinets with a dust-free vacuum sander. Next, we apply two coats of primer sanding after each coat.

Lastly, we apply the topcoat of paint giving the cabinet and frames proper drying time before reassembly. We spray everything with our high volume low pressure sprayer to produce professional results that last.
